This coffee is produced from the Batian, SL28, and SL34 varieties, grown by smallholder farmers on the slopes of Mount Kenya at an altitude of approximately 1,400 meters.

The cherries are handpicked and delivered to the mill on the same day they are harvested. They then undergo a fully washed process before being slowly dried on raised beds inside greenhouses—a method that enhances the coffee's clarity, structure, and vibrant cup profile.

Processing takes place at the Kaguyu Factory under the supervision of Wilson Wanjohi. The cooperative combines meticulous quality control with responsible water management and recycling practices, reflecting its commitment to both exceptional coffee and environmental sustainability.
