This coffee comes from smallholder farmers in the village of Worka Chelbesa, in Ethiopia's Gedeo zone. The processing station, managed by Negusse Debela, produces washed, natural, and experimental coffees, with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Located in the Gedeb woreda, the region offers ideal conditions for shade-grown coffee thanks to its dense semi-forest vegetation. Farmers cultivate the traditional Wolisho and Dega varieties native to Yirgacheffe. The cherries are carefully handpicked, meticulously sorted, and dried on raised beds to enhance the coffee's vibrant aromatics and distinctive character.
